At the lowest point of the Su\u0161ica Canyon is Su\u0161ica Lake. This lake dries up completely in the summer months. Depending on the rainfall, and most often by June, mountains can be seen on the surface of this lake. In the summer months, only green pastures can be seen in this place. Only with rainfall in the winter period does the lake fill with water again. Every year the same scene is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to Su\u0161i\u010dko Lake and the Durmitor Ring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lake Su\u0161ice is located at the bottom of a 15-kilometer-long and up to 700-meter-deep canyon of the river Su\u0161ice, along the route known as Durmitor Ring<\/a><\/strong>. This spectacular 84-kilometer ride starts from the center of \u017dabljak and leads through Durmitor National Park and Piva Nature Park, connecting famous locations such as \u0160tuoc (1,952 m) and the village of Mala Crna Gora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su\u0161i\u010dko Lake can be reached via several mountain trails: from the \u017dabljak side via the road to Trsa, from where the trail to \u0160kr\u010dka Lakes branches off, then via Dolovo and Skakalo, as well as from the direction of Piva via the village of Nedajno or from the south via the villages of Bosa\u010da and Veliki \u0160tulac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natural and ecological features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the water level, the lake can be 350 to 450 meters long, and the maximum width it can reach is 200 meters. At that time, the lake is four to five meters deep. It is formed around the Su\u0161ica River itself. Part of the lake's water flows through underground channels through porous limestone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na najni\u017eoj ta\u010dki kanjona  Su\u0161ice nalazi se Su\u0161i\u010dko jezero. Ovo jezero potpuno isu\u0161i u ljetnjim mjesecima. U zavisnosti od padavina, a naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e do juna, planine se mogu ogledati na povr\u0161ini ovog jezera. U ljetnjim mjesecima na ovom mjestu se mogu vidjeti samo zeleni pa\u0161njaci.
