Žabljak is the mountain centre of the Durmitor region, known for its fresh mountain air, high-altitude climate and proximity to Durmitor National Park.

📍 Vražje jezero & Riblje jezero

On the way towards Novakovići, the route passes Vražje jezero and Riblje jezero, two beautiful glacial lakes surrounded by the open landscapes of Jezerska Površ.

Nearby are important medieval stećci necropolises, part of the UNESCO World Heritage property Stećci – Medieval Tombstone Graveyards.

📍 Novakovići

A traditional village surrounded by open pastures and peaceful rural landscapes, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the authentic character of the Durmitor countryside.

📍 Njegovuđa

A peaceful settlement surrounded by the open landscapes of the Žabljak plateau, ideal for a short break and enjoying the views along the route.
