Srablje Lake
Srablje Lake is located near Modro Lake on Durmitor, at an altitude of approximately 1,600 metres. It is one of the smallest lakes on Durmitor, with a maximum depth of around 1.5 metres. The lake lies beyond a small moraine pass, with Valovito Lake located nearby. Valovito lake.
The trail "Three Lakes" includes Blue, Srablje and Valovito lake, and it takes about three hours to complete. The route is suitable for children and people with poor fitness, and is an ideal choice for an easy hiking trip.
The healing effects of the lake
According to local tradition, the water of Srablje Lake is believed to have healing properties, particularly for skin conditions such as itching, from which the lake is said to have derived its name.
