Bezimeni vrh – 2487m – (The gigantic beauty of Durmitor) – the second highest peak on Durmitor. Together with Bobotov kuk and Đevojka, it forms the highest and most impressive rock in the Durmitor massif, called SOA NEBESKA, which means „heavenly altar“ or „supporter of the sky“. With its height and impressiveness, Bezimeni Vrh dominates three valleys of Durmitor – the valley of Škrčke jezera, Valovito dol and the valley of Ališnica. This peak resembles the beautiful and impressive peaks of the Alps. On the summit plateau of Bezimeni Vrh there is a spacious meadow that is a real surprise and delight for every visitor, as well as an opportunity for a comfortable rest after a strenuous climb over rocky terrain and gravel.

View from the Nameless Peak:

The view from Bezimeni Vrh is spectacular to say the least. It is not known whether the view of the Škrka valley, Valovito do or the Ališnica valley is more beautiful. The tour that leads from Gornja Ališnica to Bezimeni Vrh is the most spectacular sight in the entire Durmitor, the peak reminds one of the most impressive peaks in the Alps. On the eastern side, in the immediate vicinity is Bobotov Kuk, where you can cross from one peak to another in about forty minutes. Near the peak is one of the highest passes in Durmitor, Velika Struga, which separates Bezimeni Vrh from Rbatina. The view from Bezimeni Vrh is similar to the view from Bobotov Kuk, the only difference is that you can see the Šareni Pasovi better. Also, from the top, you can see the outlines of all the mountains of Montenegro, as well as Maglić and Volujko in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Climbing season:

The most suitable period for climbing is from May to October.

The nameless peak is located within the Durmitor National Park. Movement is allowed only on marked paths. Advised:

Importance and recommendations for visitors:

It is unbelievable that such an imposing and beautiful peak does not have its own name. Bezmeni vrh is the second highest peak of Durmitor, since it is located in the vicinity of Bobot's hip, it is like a younger twin brother. The shape of Nameless Peak from the northwest side is spectacular to say the least. If you are a fan of longer tours, we definitely recommend climbing Bezimeni vrh from Žabljak. We would like to mention that at the very top, a spacious grassy meadow awaits you, ideal for resting after a strenuous ascent.
