Lučin Vrh – The Peak in the Shadow of Bobotov Kuk

The peak in the shadow of Bobotovo kuk - above Valoviti dol, a high craggy valley located at about 2000 m above sea level, between the impressive peaks of Mina Bogaz and Bobotovo kuk, is Lučin Vrh.

Lučin Vrh rises above Valoviti do, a high rocky valley at around 2,000 metres above sea level, between the impressive peaks of Minin Bogaz and Bobotov Kuk.

On its western side, Lučin Vrh is separated from Bobotov Kuk by Velika Previja, while on the eastern side it is separated from Minin Bogaz by Lučina Previja, from which the peak takes its name.

Viewed from Valoviti do, Lučin Vrh can easily remain unnoticed in the shadow of its more imposing neighbours, particularly Bobotov Kuk. However, its location makes it an excellent panoramic viewpoint in the heart of the Durmitor massif.

From Velika Previja to the summit of Lučin Vrh, the elevation difference is only around 45 metres, making it possible to include the peak as an additional ascent during a hike to Bobotov Kuk or Đevojka.
