Sedlena Greda – 2227m

Sedlena Greda – God’s Saddle of Durmitor! Looking at this peak towering over the undulating green valley of Dobri do, one immediately gets the impression that Sedlena Greda is a unique natural wonder in the world. This peak looks like a perfectly proportioned mountain in the shape of a saddle. That is why some call this peak „God’s Saddle“. From the top of Sedlene Greda, there is an excellent view of the peaks and valleys of southern Durmitor, as well as the endless expanses of the undulating Jezera and Piva plateaus.

View from Sedlena greda:

From the top of Sedlena greda, there is a view of the green and gentle junction of Komarski and Grabovick Dobro dol, and in the south direction we look at the colossal rocky slabs of Bolje and its wild, karst relief, to the right at Lojanik and Treskavac behind. To the west, the view is dominated by the southern side of Bobot's hip, as well as Prutaš and its rocky bars cut vertically to the east.

Climbing season:

The most suitable period for climbing is from May to October.

The top ridge of Sedlena Greda is sharp and quite exposed, which requires great caution.
