Ski resorts
The “Savin Kuk” ski resort has two double-seater ski lifts, three ski lifts, one of which is equipped with floodlights for night skiing, as well as a children's ski lift. Visitors have access to 4.6 km of ski slopes, and the capacity is 3,000 skiers. The altitude difference is 700m. The ski resort has three blue slopes, one red slope, one black slope and a children's, baby slope.
The double-seater cable car “Savin kuk I” is 1,550 m long, leads towards the top of Savin kuk and reaches an altitude of 1,907 meters above sea level. It includes a total of 3.8 km of ski slopes (three blue, one red and one children's slope). The upper double-seater cable car “Savin kuk II” is 700 m long and reaches an altitude of 2,213 meters above sea level. It is intended for advanced skiers, as it includes an 800 m long black slope. This cable car is a tourist attraction in both winter and summer.
Ski center Savin kuk has all the facilities needed for complete enjoyment, ski service, ski school and other accompanying catering facilities. There are restaurants and one coffee bar in the ski center where guests can relax and enjoy the nice atmosphere, national food and drink.
Javorovača is located close to the centre of Žabljak and is a popular place for enjoying the snow during the winter months.
There is currently no organised skiing or active ski-lift infrastructure, but the slopes can be used for sledding and recreational skiing, with visitors walking back up the slope.Thanks to its proximity to the town and easily accessible terrain, Javorovača is particularly suitable for families with children and visitors who simply want to enjoy the snow without going to a larger ski resort.
